Kommentar: Gedicht auf Englisch. Mit obszönen Wörter, wenn man das so sehen will. I'm an angry person.
When people ask me what I prefer,
I smile and say
'it doesn't work like that'
and wonder what goes on in their brains.
My father was happy I was not completely gay
and my grandfather never asks whether I have a girlfriend.
People think I will shortly resume the usual programme
- after the news piece that's lasted more than ten years.
When people ask which one is better
I smile and say
'neither is better than the other'
and no one ever believes me.
Because it's penis here and vagina there
and people forget that there's a person attached.
I don't have relationships with genitalia.
When people say I'm just too scared to out myself completely
I smile and say
'I am out and proud'
and knowing smiles and nods appear.
To be discriminated within your own safe haven
makes you want to shake them into the open-mindedness
they all proclaim, or say 'go fuck yourselves!'

Ich habe nicht viel Ahnung von Gedichten, wenn man von den üblichen Interpretationen absieht die man in der Schule machen musste... daher bleibe ich einfach bei einem: Sehr starke, sehrsehr wahre Worte. Ich mag es!
