Anmerkung: Auf Englisch, und wie angekündigt: Es geht um einen Vampir!!
Bonus: Das Gedicht Vertont! - etwas verschlafen und nur mit dem Handy aufgenommen. Ersetze ich vielleicht bei Gelegenheit mal.
(Ich sollte viel häufiger Lieder auf Zeit schreiben. Eine Stunde Text, eine Stunde Musik - statt des ewigen hin und her Schieben und Drehen.)
He wears his gloves
snow white like Macheath',
but he has no knife,
like a shark he has teeth.
He hides them with charms
and a smile,
oh – a smile,
that any young lady
gladly would die for.
He's old as the world
and as young as a boy.
He is handsome and witty
and the way that he toys
with her hair,
no, she won't miss the heat
that was hers,
that was life,
was as red as she bleeds.
He drinks the sun from her skin,
the faint taste of a wish that he can't even dream of.
But once she's run dry
and lost all her light,
the darkness remains
and grows darker each night.
