Anmerkung: Hatte ein wenig Stress und daher nur etwas ganz Kleines.
Leonard stumbled into his dorm, and the moment he was inside he let out an annoyed sigh. “Again?” he asked when he heard the music that was sounding through the room.
“It’s a classic from the 20th century, Bones. Don’t be such a critic.”
“I’m not a critic. I just have normally functioning ears and this song is just annoying.”
Jim jumped up from his bed and walked over to Leonard, stopped right in front of him, too close for Leonard’s liking. “Does this bother you?” he teased and smirked mischievously. Leonard wasn’t sure what Jim meant exactly. The music or the close proximity. It didn’t really matter because Leonard didn’t like either of it.
So he grumbled a quite “Yes”.
Surprisingly Jim shrugged with his shoulders, took a step back and ordered, “Computer, turn music off.”
The silence that followed was relieving. Leonard turned around to his bed and threw his bag on it. “Why do you hear these songs anyway? You’re not even celebrating christmas.”
“But you do.”
A little surprised about Jim’s serious and soft tone Leonard turned around again, watching him closely.
“You seem a little stressed lately and not in christmas mood at all and I thought I could give you a little push in the right direction.”
Leonard huffed. “With this awful song?”
Jim smirked. “The first time I really thought it would lighten your mood. The other times it was just funny to see you lose your shit over it.”
Leonard shook his head. Jim was unbelievable sometimes. “You know there are other songs that I might like better.”
Jim suddenly was very close again. “I thought another tradition would be more fitting for you.” Jim moved his head to point upwards. Leonard looked up, just to see Jim holding a mistletoe over their heads.
Before Leonard could even ask or argue, Jim’s lips were on his. It came so sudden and unexpected that Leonard didn’t know what to do before Jim moved away.
“Jim,” he whispered, completely lightheaded.
“Not good?” Jim seemed insecure, something that Leonard hadn’t seen often since they knew each other. And he hated this expression. So he was quick with shaking his head.
“No, I like this tradition,” he said, moving closer to Jim again, especially to his lips. “Let’s keep this tradition and forget those stupid song.”
“I could sing it for you, if you like this better.”
“Oh please, no, don’t. Just kiss me.”
Jim was happy to oblige.
