“Wait, Jim, where are we going?” Leonard tried to stop but Jim didn’t let him, just kept walking and dragged Leonard with him.

“Less talking, more walking.” Jim said. The first words Leonard had heard from him since Leonard exited the shuttle that brought him back to Earth. Leonard could guess where they were heading. It looked like Jim wanted to bring him to his dorm. But why? Leonard was still fully packed with his stuff and honestly he just wanted to get to his own room to get rid of it.

But Jim had grabbed him by the arm without even a word of hello and didn’t leave him a choice. As soon as the door of Jim’s room was shut behind him, Jim pushed Leonard against it and gave him a desperate kiss. “Two months you said,” he mumbled after he pulled away for some air.

“I know,” Leonard murmured, feeling lightheaded from that amazing kiss, letting his bags glide from his shoulders. Leonard caught himself moving closer to Jim’s lips again, lingering onto them. “I know,” he repeated and felt so guilty. It was not his fault. There were some complications and all medical personnel had to stay longer. Leonard hadn’t known that it would take this long though.

“Four months are definitely too long, Bones.” Jim’s hands moved over Leonard’s arms and he felt a shiver run down his back. He pressed himself closer to Jim, desperate for some proximity. “Let us agree not to be separated for this long ever again.”

“Jim, we can’t possible know where we will end up after our-”
“You’ll be my CMO. No discussion.”
A wide smile spread on Leonard’s face and a warm feeling rushed through his whole body. “I wouldn’t want it any other way. The last months on this damn space station without you were hell. If I’m in space, then only with you, kid.”
“Then it’s settled. No one leaves the other behind. Next time I’m coming with you. Don’t care if I have classes or something else.”

Leonard grinned and finally got this second kiss he had desperately waited for. He just pulled Jim closer and took what he wanted. His fingers tangled into Jim’s hair and his other hand wandered down Jim’s chest.
Jim put his hands on Leonard’s waist and pulled him back with him into his room. Leonard knew by heart that Jim was heading for his bed. This was not the first time that they walked around this room, sticking so closely together as if they were only one person.

When they past the other bed though, Leonard stopped for a moment, just pulled back so far that he could get some words out. “What about Gary?”
“I send Gary to your dorm. I wanted him out today and your bed will be empty tonight anyway, so.” Jim shrugged.
Leonard smirked. “Oh will it now?”
Jim just nodded and stole another kiss, pushing Leonard down onto his bed. “I’ve missed you so much, Bones,” he whispered fondly into his ear. “So damn much.”
“I’ve missed you too, Jim.”

Ach, die beiden <3

Es passt total zu den beiden, dass Jim so eine vergleichsweise lange Trennung nicht gut verträgt, Bones das Ganze aber etwas besser wegsteckt (obwohl er natürlich auch nicht woanders sein will ;)

Nein, Bones ist auch am Liebsten bei Jim, aber ich denke, dass er eine längere Trennung besser wegsteckt als Jim.
Und er wird bestimmt nicht ablehnen, wenn Jim ihm zeigen will, wie sehr er ihn vermisst hat ;)
