Inhalt: Jongsuk forgot Woobin's birthday.
Anmerkung: Jongsuk und Woobin sind zwei koreanische Schauspieler, die die allerbesten Freunde sind und auf einem Fanmeet von Jongsuk war Woobin mal als Überraschungsgast eingeladen und sie sind sich in die Arme gefallen, wie ein vom Krieg getrenntes Liebespaar und Jongsuk hat geweint und ich habe unendlich viele Gefühle für diese beiden, UNENDLICH VIELE.


Lousy best friend

It's his birthday and his lousy best friend has forgotten all about it. Idiot. God damn fool. Woobin has been moving his schedule around like crazy just so they could meet up that day which resulted in him not having slept in two days. The makeup they keep caking on his cheeks and eyes to make him appear less dead is starting to fuse with his face and Jongsuk, the sorry bastard spent a good ten minutes just laughing at his misfortune.

Without wishing him a happy birthday of course because Jongsuk has either forgotten which day of the week it is (entirely possible, the damn fool) or Jongsuk is playing a terrible practical joke on Woobin.

He half hopes for the latter because as much as he enjoys just spending time with Jongsuk (some stolen, illegal half hours in a shoddy café near the ugliest part of Seoul. Woobin has a photoshoot coming up and Jongsuk still has tinfoil on his head because he ran here, straight from the set of "Pinocchio") Woobin feels himself getting crankier and more silent by the minute.

They part ways with a hug and a sulky sigh from Jongsuk and not once does he say "Congratulations!"

In the end, Woobin sits in a taxi when he feels his phone buzz in his pocket some twenty minutes after he left Jongsuk.

"I have a feeling that you are angry with me", reads the message with a cute kitten smiley attached.

Woobin pauses for a moment. He should write him "Yes, I am angry with you" and be the responsible adult here. But it's his birthday. He can indulge in some diva behaviour.
"if you feel that way… why didnt you ask me at the café?" he texts back, no smileys, no accurate spelling.

"Because I am bad at this!" reads the immediate answer. A grinning smiley accompanies it, sticking his tongue out at Woobin. Jongsuk is a frigging idiot but Woobin remembers the last few hours and Jongsuk's wide open grin and the way their fingers entwined just for a moment on the table.

Woobin sighs and just as his taxi pulls onto the studio's parking lot he writes "I am angry because it is my birthday today and you forgot, you doofus!"

He presses "Send" and immediately feels embarrassed but he can't even put his phone back in his pocket before it starts ringing like crazy.

Woobin picks up and is faced with a crying, hiccuping screaming absolutely histerical Lee Jongsuk.

Woobin laughs.

His best friend is an idiot.
